Design Manager (Airports) - London - good daily rates

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians working on a variety of airport projects.

As a Designer and Design Manager you will be responsible for coordinating the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, scheme design and detailed design for major and minor projects. You will attend progress meetings and liaise with all essential stakeholders and clients The role will also encompass resource, financial and commercial management

Essential Criteria:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering accredited for corporate membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers, or equivalent qualifications.
Extensive experience in airport planning, design and construction
Working towards corporate membership of a relevant professional body, or be a corporate member.
Extensive experience of local and international airport design standards and appropriate design tools
Detailed knowledge and experience in the application of the airport design procedures
Extensive Experience of airport infrastructure planning and design
Experience of airfield inspection and pavement design
