The primary responsibility for the Head of Sales will be to manage, develop and leverage existing relationships whilst identifying opportunities both internationally and across the UK.
Further responsibilities include:
Managing a team of three which comprises of a Business Development Manager and members of the customer services team.
Working with a number of internal stakeholders, from production and logistics to working with the MD and FD to ensure tenders and contracts are managed effectively and successfully.
Working with a number of various external stakeholders at various levels to maintain and develop strong relationships whilst driving any business opportunities.
Working closely with supply chain partners to support delivery of business objectives.
Travelling internationally periodically to develop international contracts.
Managing budgets and controlling margins adhering to delivery of budgeted volumes.
The successful Head of Sales will:
Have a strong track record in consultatively selling a technical product/service across the UK and internationally.
Possess strong leadership skills and be able to provide examples in successfully developing a team towards business objectives.
Be a self starter, strategic, commercially aware individual who can communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
Have strong analytical skills and identify opportunities and trends within their specific market.
Be able to commute daily to the head office in Witham, Essex.
Be a strong influencer with exceptional interpersonal and customer service levels.
