Following its recent acquisition by Bosch Group, Kliklok International is entering an exciting new phase of development and as a result it intends to recruit a highly motivated Sales Manager to drive its ambitious growth plan.
A UK company, Kliklok is recognised globally for its innovative range of secondary packaging machinery. For over 60 years, the company has been a leader in the design and manufacture of versatile, reliable and cost effective packaging automation solutions.
From its UK base in Bristol, Kliklok supplies machinery worldwide, employing circa 80 people with a turnover of £11m. With the food industry as its core market, its range of equipment includes top load and end load carton forming and closing machines, wraparound sleevers and complementary product handling systems
The successful Area Sales Manager (Packaging Machinery) will be responsible for the increase of overall sales across the strategically critical territory South of the UK and Ireland. The role offers extensive career growth and personal development potential for the successful candidate.
Management of the Southern UK and Ireland territory (current turnover circa £2 million)
New business acquisition across the territory - focusing on strategic accounts in the bakery, frozen & chilled food, confectionery, contract packing and dairy sectors
Create and execute a comprehensive sales plan consistent with the Kliklok strategic direction
Proactively building sales pipeline
Strategic networking within the new and existing client database, .
Management of key end-user accounts, OEM's, local agents and distributors.
Contribute to marketing activity
Drive the awareness of Kliklok International at multiple levels within strategic accounts
Active and robust use of the CRM system to drive the sales process
Who we're looking for:
Entrepreneurial, focused and energetic Sales Manager able to demonstrate delivery of profitable sales revenues in a similar or related industry
Track record of successfully acquiring new business in multinational accounts
Extensive knowledge of the Food industry supply chain
The ability to plan strategically with a strong commercial acumen.
Able to co-ordinate and garner the resources of cross functional teams to deliver complex projects to the customer
Evidence of exceptional negotiation skills
Highly numerate with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to undertake extensive UK and occasional overseas travel.
Engaging personality with the gravitas to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Autonomous, resilient and resourceful approach with a positive 'can do' attitude
What's on Offer:
The successful applicant can expect a basic salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience and an uncapped commission scheme + Company car + Pension
