To further strengthen our team, IBD Oslo is now seeking new Analysts starting in January 2016 or August 2016 (could agree to deviating startup). The Analysts will support IBD professionals in Oslo and globally, serve as core members of deal teams and gain a deep understanding of strategic advisory, M&A, fixed income, LBO and loans and capital markets work. DNB Markets IBD is a highly reputable team within DNB and thus requires Analysts with excellent qualifications and impeccable attention to details.
The Analysts will report to the Global Head of one of the four IBD teams; Strategic Advisory, Fixed Income Origination, LBO and Loan Origination or Capital Markets.
Creating client pitches
Preparing various analyses
Staying fully abreast of relevant market developments
Preparing transaction memos, client exposure reports, deal files
Tracking comparable transactions, including maintenance of databases of external and internal deal data
Assisting in updating general marketing information
Applicant should be graduating autumn 2015 or spring/summer 2016. We will also consider applicants with up to 3 years of relevant experience
Master’s degree or equivalent with excellent grades from a reputable institution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Norwegian and English
General interest and understanding of investment banking products and services
Experience and ability in using relevant software
Ability to multi-task
Interest in financial markets
Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges
High ethical standards
