DNB Large Corporates and International - Ocean Industries Division - Customer Analysis

Do you want to work with large corporate clients in the most international oriented business area of DNB?
Ocean Industries Division (OI) is looking for Corporate Analysts to our Customer Analysis Section (CAS) in Oslo with main focus on Shipping, Offshore and/or Oil & Gas.
OI covers five industry sectors; Oil & Gas, Oilfield Services, Shipping, Offshore, and Seafood, and employs around 130 people globally, whereof 55 people in Oslo. Our ambition is to be a leading financial partner and advisor to our clients, focusing on strong industry competence and corporate responsibility.

CAS in Oslo is responsible for the credit evaluation including analysis of risks related to all transactions. We perform and present financial and non-financial analysis and market outlook on relevant industry sectors. As part of CAS, you will work in client teams in close cooperation with the client manager and/or the client advisor. You will also be involved in other ad hoc tasks, analysis and projects.

Candidates should have a strong analytical mind, being able to apply logical thinking in risk assessment, problem solving and decision making processes. You should also have a professional and commercial mindset, high ethical standard and a cooperative and result oriented personality. The ability to work independently, take initiative and to add value in discussions are crucial to thrive in this role.

Some key responsibilities:

Conduct risk analysis, including financial modelling and assessment of non-financial risks of clients and transactions as part of the internal decision process
Follow up on client requests and contribute with analysis to client pitches in close cooperation with the client teams
Prepare industry market and client portfolio reports

Some preferred qualifications:
Education on a Master degree level with good results
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
Minimum three years of relevant experience and being familiar with financial modelling/forecasting in Excel
Strong interest in developing relevant industry knowledge
