Would you like to make an impact? We are now looking for a Product Engineer to play a critical role in our PIP product team.
As a Product Engineer, you are a key person in the development of new and improved customer solutions within pressure injury prevention. Based on customer insight, product-, process- and material knowledge you develop new and update existing laboratory methods, you are deeply involved in prototype and product development activities and you lead the product verification work in the laboratory.
Lead and develop internal and external test methods focusing on the existing assortment.
Participate in the development of new test methods for new PIP concepts.
Guide and coach the PIP product team regarding internal and external lab methods.
Plan, lead and document the product verification work in the laboratory as well as in the Technical files.
Participate in cross-functional development projects to meet defined targets in quality, deliver results on time and keep within agreed costs in order to achieve the financial goals of the project portfolio.
Academic background in Engineering or Life Science (Bachelor or Master’s Degree) or corresponding experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within medical device and product verification.
Experienced in method development projects.
Good team-working skills and communication skills.
Performance driven/result-oriented mindset and customer focused.
Preferably you have a strong background in method development and product verification within medical devices. Experience in Finite Element Modeling is considered a plus. This is a full-time permanent position based in Göteborg.
