Solar Development and Sales Manager (m/f)

Your role:

You will be part of a new small team to develop and grow customer-oriented solar PV business in the German market. Initially, the team will focus on the commercial customers rooftop segment. You will work closely with various solar PV teams in selected European and even global markets. With your industry experience, you are expected to play a pivotal role in making Statkraft a successful player in the solar PV business.In detail the following tasks will be part of your job profile:

Design and implement sales strategies for different customer segments
Manage all aspects of commercial project development from initial customer acquisition to installation including grid access and permitting
Conduct due-diligence of full projects, i.e. PV system (technical components, system design, energy yield projection, etc.) and customer/real estate
Develop and maintain relationships with key EPC, O&M and installation companies
Liaise with other internal business and support areas regarding construction and operation, HSSE, contractual agreements, project financial modelling, power off-take etc.

Your profile:
University degree in business, economics, engineering or equivalent
PV rooftop business experience in the commercial customers segment, ideally experience with solar leasing (“Pachtmodell”)
Profound knowledge of German PV market and preferably established network with industry participants (EPC, O&M, installation partners)
Transaction-focused; experienced in negotiating and executing contracts and managing counterparty relationships
Ability to manage numerous projects and relationships simultaneously including customers, technical suppliers, attorneys, and internal stakeholders
Self-directed individual who will meet deadlines and deliver quality products without continual oversight
Fluent in English and German, any additional language is an advantage
