Technical Drafter - Intermediate

Description Tasks:

Prepare P&ID’s /PFD’s based on sketches/draft markups as prepared by the relevant discipline Engineers.
Assist with Autocad P&ID configuration and setup.
Produce drawings according to NORSOK, ISO and relevant corporate standards.
Design data input into central database/spreadsheet system associated with P&ID system.
Comply with and have a positive contribution toward Company Safety culture and policies.

Qualifications:
Educated as a CAD Operator / Technical Drafter and 3 years drafting experience, or other relevant education/basic Autocad course and 5 years working experience as a draftsman.
Good general Autocad skills with consideration to drafting (consistency, accuracy, presentation and speed), configuration and setup.
Experience with creating/revise P&ID’s and other schematics (PFD’s, UFD’s).
Good general technical understanding with focus on equipment and process, with preference towards the Oil & Gas Industry.
In addition to the above mentioned Autocad skills, experience with Aveva products can be an advantage.
Familiar with NORSOK/ISO with regards to both drafting requirements and other International Oil & Gas standards (ASME, API etc).
Good English communication skills, both oral and written. Norwegian oral and written would be advantageous.
