Accounts Payable Specialist
Responsible and accountable for processing various types of accounts payable transactions, including Evaluated Receipt Settlements, EDI, Drop Shipment and Consignment invoice processing; electronic and manual payment processing; month end closing reports and reconciliations; Purchasing Card and Concur expense reporting. Work is performed under the direction of the Supervisor, Accounts Payable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support North American Business Units
Prepare and submit reports
Control intercompany invoicing/payments
Prepare reconciliations, journal entries or other analyses as required
Support for Small Appliance Payables
Support for Asia Supply Chain Finance
Support for Resin Re-bill Process
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or related field required
Three or more years experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a high volume manufacturing environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience in processing ERS, EDI and Drop shipments.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to multi-task and learn new skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; demonstrate by testing.
Highly motivated team oriented person who can focus on the details.
JD Edwards report writing skills preferred.
An understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
