Our client is a leading organisation that has been awarded a large Oil & Gas project on the new Jazan Industrial City project in Saudi Arabia. Our client is seeking experienced Construction Planners to work site based on a 10 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

Role & Responsibilities:
Validate compliance of the Sub-Contractor’s schedule with the Sub-Contractor’s contract obligations
Validate weightings of the Sub-Contractor’s schedule
Validate Sub-Contractor’s productivity assumptions
Integrate the Sub-Contractor’s weighted schedule into the Project Master Schedule
Monitor the Sub-Contractor’s resources and productivity, and report out status, risks and issues
Provide accurate earned value measurement, productivity measurement, and construction schedule forecasting
Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to measure and report out weekly earned value and schedule status
In accordance with project reporting calendar requirements, work closely with the Offshore Lead Project Planner to measure and report out monthly earned value and schedule status, suitable for the Lead Project Planner to integrate into the Master Project Schedule
Work with Construction Manager, Project Manager, Lead Project Planner and sub-contractor to develop recovery plans as required
Suitable candidates must match the following criteria:
HND Level qualification in engineering, planning or related discipline
10+ years’ experience in a site-based planning role for Oil & Gas or other industrial industries
Highly proficient in the use of Primavera P6
Experience with working on a camp based construction sites in remote ME locations
Middle East experience is essential with Saudi experience desirable
Strong communicator written and oral
Team player
Degree qualification is desirable
Salary & Package:

10/2 rotation, single status
