EHS MANAGER

Elkem Foundry Products is the leading metal treatment solution provider to the cast iron industry and a supplier of high quality special ferrosilicons to the steel industry. We have five manufacturing sites supported by sales offices and representatives around the world. A globally based technical service team and a commitment to research and development complement our high quality products and means that we can supply innovative solutions to our customer’s challenges.

To further strengthen our EHS work, we are now looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of “EHS manager – Elkem Foundry Products division”.

Location is flexible. Frequent travelling will be required.

Areas of responsibility:

Support in management of the EHS work in the division and at plant.
Coordinating and planning of activities between plants and division
Exercise professional supervision with the plants implementation regarding EHS responsibility (compliance of existing rules and standards) on behalf of division manager.
Follow up of deviations

Required qualifications:
Higher technical education or relevant working experience
Knowledge about relevant legislation and regulations
Good knowledge about LEAN/EBS-tools and working methods
Experienced in conducting EHS revisions
Good cooperation and communication skills
Fluency in English language
You will report to SVP Elkem Foundry Products division.
