EXPERIENCED BUYER FOR H&M SPORTSWEAR, STOCKHOLM
H&M Sport is growing. Are you a creative and professional sportswear buyer who would love to work for H&M? We are now looking for new talents to join our H&M Sport Department situated at our global Buying and Design Office in Stockholm, Sweden. H&M continues to grow and wants to strengthen the H&M Sport Team with buyers. We are looking for people with experience from creating and developing functional sportswear products at a sport retailer or brand. We are also looking for designers and patternmakers see separate ads.
The role as buyer for H&M Sportswear at the men´s sport department includes the following:
Setting vision and goals together with the section head and product designer
Building the assortment and have the right product at the right time in the right quantities
Work with strong customer focus
Developing the products together with other members of the sport team
Planning and budget based on goals
Sales follow-up, evaluation and taking action on goals
Finding new ways to increase selling and profit
Involve, delegate to, develop, inspire and set goals and tasks for the buying assistants
Cooperating with production offices
We are looking for you who have/are:
a passion for fashion and sportswear
experience as a buyer including assortment building and product development
within functional sportswear at a sport retailer or brand
a degree in economics / purchasing
leadership experience and qualities and a strong will to do business
strong salesmanship and commercial thinking
analytical thinking and an ability to take a wider view to plan, organize and prioritize
great team player and can work independently
fluent in English and willing to learn Swedish
