Electrical Engineer / Project Manager job in UK
Our client is currently recruiting for an Project Manager that has ideally worked as an Electrical Engineer previously working within the Renewable Energy sector (Onshore/Offshore Wind).
The following candidate will have previous experience in the below:
Clarification with DNO on connection offers including DNO scope of works / expectations of our client
-Site meetings with DNO & client to confirm scope of works/interfaces
-Balance of electrical works between DNO RMU and LV panel of wind turbine (RMU >transformer or HV switchgear/LV cables)
-Preparation of design drawings including SLDs and Gas (AutoCad)
-Specification and assist with costing of plant/materials/labour and supporting Commercial Director pricing the works
-Technical support during tender process
Project Management:
- Ordering long-lead items (transformers, switchgear, GRPs) on receipt of PO from client
- Design sign-off from DNO/turbine manufacturer and client
- Liaising with DNO/turbine manufacturer and client re delivery schedule
- Scheduling works / liaising with subcontractors
- Dead/live testing completion certificates issued to client
