Girls Wear Print Designer
Are you a creative and professional print designer who has a passion for children’s wear? We are now looking for a print designer to join us at one of our five sections at Girls division (customer aged 2-6 years old).
The H&M Design and Buying Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden. This is where we design and develop our collections of garments and accessories for a great variety of customers. You will work at a high pace, where rapid changes are a natural part of your working day. Good communication skills, a flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to change are essential.
As a print designer you are responsible for all print coordination and the print vision within the section. You will be responsible for placement prints, all over prints, checks, and stripes. You will be working closely with the design team and buyers in order to get the right graphic feeling in the collection and to cover all target groups within the concept.
You will be responsible for:
Being the print visionary for the concept
Developing, planning and producing print originals and colour ways at both concept and product level
Print coordination
Print development
Keeping customer focus; identifying the customer’s buying behaviour
H&M is looking for someone who:
Has at least 4 years experience as print designer
Is creative, visionary and has a passion for fashion
Has excellent illustration skills
Has good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Has good skills in printing technique and graphic textile designing
Is a team player
Is able to communicate their vision to a team
Can guide, involve and inspire the team
Is driven and result oriented
Is fluent in English and willing to learn Swedish
