Head of Payroll, Swedbank Sweden

Payroll Sweden was established in 1998 when Sparbanken Sverige and Föreningsbanken merged. The department produces salaries for the Swedish part of Swedbank Group as well as most of the independent Savings Banks in Sweden. Payroll Sweden is located in Östersund and in the department operates close to twenty payroll administrators and specialists. The department is part of Group HR Support and the Head of Payroll Sweden will report directly to the Head of Group HR Support. In addition to the payroll system the unit is also responsible for the systems Time reporting, Travel and expense reporting and HR output reporting.

The current Head of Payroll will retire in the end of 2012 and therefore we are looking for a successor to him.

Your mission

As head of the department, you will initially be an important part in the efforts to create a new common HR platform for Swedbank Group as well as implementing a new payroll system in Sweden. You will be part of the management team of Group HR Support and maintain good relationships with employees, managers and other departments within the organization.

Your experience and competence:
You are a senior manager with excellent documented experience from leadership, change management and HR/Payroll. You need to have commitment and a strong will to run a business and to be open to change mindset. You have a relevant academic degree and significant HR experience. You must have documented instructional competence and experience. It’s necessary that you can speak and write Swedish and English very well.
