About Our Client
The Shopper agency, as mentioned above, are already an established, well respected agency in London, and now looking to grow their Northern roots. Currently a small team with huge growth plans over the next few years. Already managed to land some incredibly impressive brands and more in the pipeline. Based in the heart of the city, with elements of travel expected.
The role of the Account Director is to lead a team of driven, successful client service individuals to ensure consistent, high quality campaigns are delivered time and time again. The Account Director will also be responsible for being part of the growth of the business. Leading new business pitches and being involved in the strategy of the business.
You will have a Senior Account Manager reporting directly into you, with Account Managers and Account Executives reporting into them. The role will be based in the Leeds office but client visits could be a regular part of your weekly responsibilities, so flexibility is essential.
The Successful Applicant:
To be considered for the Account Director role, you must have the following skills and experience:
* A solid agency background, even if it's not the most recent experience
* A strong understanding of the shopper / retail world
* Passionate about growing own career and being part of the growth of a business
* A developer of people. Passionate about developing the more junior members of the team up the ranks
* Strong communicator at all levels. That's internal, external and most importantly, face to face with clients
