About Our Client
A growing strategic brand and marketing consultancy that focuses on influencing shoppers to act. They have an increasing range of national and international retailers and brands as clients, with a plan to add to this in 2015. While they appreciate currently, they're not very famous in the Manchester area, they want to attract the best possible talent to meet their growth ambitions. The agency believe in training and support for their staff and offer a Learning Academy to develop the team that ensures they can offer their clients the best strategic thinking and creative product. They were recently given an Investors In People certificate to recognise these commitments.

Job description:

The role of the successful Account Executive would be as follows:

* Understand the agency's positioning and strengths to be able to clearly articulate it to clients and prospects

* Understand the working mechanisms of the agency, roles and responsibilities and how the agency makes money in order to assist in its development

* Support in the delivery of the agency's PR and communications strategy for example managing social media and blogs

* Contribute to and be part of the agency's goal to be a leading retail, shopper-marketing and packaging agency

* Develop and maintain a close and productive relationship with relevant client contacts to ensure ultimate satisfaction in what we deliver

* Daily contact with client contacts, providing administration support, updates and information on project status and handling queries

* Respond promptly to client requests, managing expectations in terms of speed and delivery of response, using appropriate briefing/admin structure

* Schedule all jobs to ensure they are delivered on time and budget and continually monitor progress through the agency

* Develop an understanding of client's business to ensure that both current demands and future demands can be anticipated

* Research and assist in the preparation of briefs, pitches and presentations

* Client / location visits to review live campaigns and gain client / product / environment insight

* Help develop creative presentations to clients

The Successful Applicant:
* Experienced working in a marketing environment. Preferably agency side but client side would still be considered. As would a placement role through university

* A natural self starter

* Motivated to succeed on each and every campaign

* An expert in multitasking

* Able to work in a fast paced environment with strict budgets and deadlines

* A team player but capable of working independently

* Strong relationship builder across all channels

* A hunger to learn and inquisitive nature
