New business focussed Business Development Director
Heavy Engineering Solutions into Hard Rock Applications
Develop a strategic plan for the growth and development of the hard rock product range (OE and Service) to customers through Europe and North Africa:
Grow Hard Rock business opportunities across Europe & North Africa.
Develop knowledge and know-how of Hard Rock market within the organisation.
Ensure that customers receive a high quality, cost effective and responsible service.
Organise, develop and support local sales teams in Hard Rock applications and opportunities.
Regular customer site visits to identify and solve issues that arise and promote the benefits of hard rock technology and equipment.
Monitor changes in the market situation and legislation requirements, and recommend or implement action to meet changing circumstances as required.
Maintain budgetary control of hard rock initiatives.
Contribute to the development of the product range to meet customer requirements.
Establish and maintain representative agencies ion markets as appropriate.
Ensure contract management of all contracts is carried out efficiently.
The Successful Applicant:
A demonstrable track record of success in an international business development role with a good understanding of Hard Rock Mining and/or Heavy Engineering.
Prepared to travel extensively throughout Europe and North Africa on a frequent basis, visiting remote mine sites, pits and underground operations.
Culturally aware you will be tenacious yet structured in your approach and bring real dynamism to the team through your "can do" attitude and motivation of others.
Confident and assertive communicator with highly developed influencing and networking skills.
Proven track record of personal success in a senior business development role generating £multi million projects.
Flexibility to travel extensively across region.
Good communications skills, both spoken and written;
Additional languages would be preferable.
