Our client is a cutting edge technology business with a genuine market leading solution geared towards health and safety within the on-shore and off-shore Oil, Gas & Energy. Currrent customer include Stat Oil, Shell and BP.
Develop and lead an effective and targeted sales strategy, adopting a hands-on, structured, rigorous and proactive sales management approach focussed on Sales Pipeline Management, Account and Territory management, Sales prospecting and generating and securing leads and new business in both established and previously untapped markets.
Cement business relationships at all levels within target customers to ensure that the company is appropriately aligned commercially, technically and operationally to take advantage of all potential revenue generating opportunities.
Significantly strengthen the customer footprint of the company via a highly visible and targeted approach to business development and marketing, striking a balance between actively securing sales and strategic business development.
Develop your own sales pipeline and be a quota baring part of the sales function.
Acquire and continue to develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's full range of services, products and capabilities, and convey to customers any new developments which promote the company's brand for quality service and products.
Constantly monitor oil & gas market trading conditions and customer specific strategic and operational factors to ensure that reliable market intelligence is procured upon which sound business judgements can be based.
Continually protect and enhance our client's reputation/perception in the marketplace through the application of carefully planned customer development initiatives.
Build and maintain excellent relationships internally, working closely with colleagues ensuring current business performance is optimised, standards of customer service enhanced and new opportunities fully exploited.
Formulate and present sales forecasts, goals and objectives, operating to agreed business plans, budgets and targets.
The Successful Applicant:
You will have a demonstrable track record in a quota baring sales role selling into the oil & gas sector.
You will have a proven record of sales leadership including the implementation of sales process and structure.
You will be a highly credible sales professional with an in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of the oil and gas market.
A well organised, pro-active relationship builder with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, outstanding commercial awareness and good all round business acumen. Must display the presence and maturity to influence and win the confidence of both customers and colleagues.
An expert communicator, already well networked at appropriate levels within the oil and gas community, professionally respected by both customers and industry peers, and possess the capability to leverage personal credibility and networks.
A pro-active self-starter, with the necessary drive, determination and social skills to develop commercially advantageous customer relationships that subsequently generate profitable business.
A motivator possessing an outgoing, interactive personality with a real understanding of the value and importance of team spirit.
What's on Offer:
£60,000 - £70,000 + bonus and package.
There will be international travel with this role so all candidates must be prepared to work away.
You will need to spend your first few weeks from the office in Yorkshire but this will be a home based role and applicants are invited to apply regardless of your location.
