The successful Head of Sales will lead the experienced and established B2C and B2B sales channels, support the three core channels, which are, On-Site Holiday Sales, Large Group and Coach Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad team of sales professionals, bringing to life the Groups culture, supporting the team to devise an annual sales plan, establish new processes/ ways of working in order to achieve the targeted growth/ annual sales targets.
The role will report to the Marketing Director and will be based in Hemel Hempstead. A natural fit will be an individual who can demonstrate a strong field sales background, experience of managing large teams and someone who can effectively drive change.
Further aspects of this role will include but not limited to:
Working with the Marketing Director and other Heads of Department to devise the annual sales & marketing strategy for Warner
Coordinate effective team communication between Hemel and the 13 sites throughout the UK
Support the Channels leaders to develop and implement an annual sales strategy across the various channels in order to achieve agreed sales targets
Coach, train and develop the team to lead them towards excellence
Manage 6 direct reports with 20 indirect
Bring together the team across the sales channels to form an effective value chain, to give the guests the best possible buying experience regardless of channel they book
Manage a healthy Marketing budget and build a sound proof sales strategy to relieve responsibilities from the Marketing Director
The Successful Applicant:
The successful Head of Sales will be able to demonstrate a real understanding of a solution sell and the level of empathy that this requires. You will currently hold a senior position with a reporting line that is reflective of this, as well as the ability to offer the calibre/ gravitas needed for such a position. As Head of Sales you will be a natural self-starter, who enjoys motivating their peers around them to align everyone to drive hard and to achieve a common set of goals. You will have the ability and foresight to build pipeline with the Marketing Director to ensure the future growth of your channels. A Head of Sales that can deliver a clear direction, expectations and an environment that is reflective of a rewards and recognition culture will drive all this successfully.
