About Our Client:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global and market leading manufacturing organisation based out of Wiltshire as an IT Manage

Key Responsibilities:
Leading a team of technical engineers
Act as the technical escalation point of the team when needed
Provide hands on technical support when needed
Work with and manage stakeholder expectations
Strive to improve service & service delivery
Own, control, manage IT budgets
Coach, mentor, support and develop team members both from a soft skills perspective as well as technically
Champion and represent the team, function & IT department in management meetings
Keep up to date with technology advancements to use that knowledge to advance and develop the organisations IT
Disaster recovery & business continuity
Management of offshore resources
Management of 3rd party relationships

The Successful Applicant:
Proven experience of leading developing a team
Strong commercial experience in hardware, software and service support
Experience of the management of budgets
Significant database development experience
Experience of virtualisation and SAN storage technologies
Experience of telephony
Able to identify business system improvements
Experience of growing and developing an IT function
Strong communications and stakeholder management skills

What's on Offer:
£60,000 - £70,000 based on experience + package
