SENIOR TOWN PLANNER

Senior- Principle Planner - Birmingham - Perm - £30-£38k/annum + twice yearly performance related bonus

Due to an increasing workload and strong performance over recent years my client in Birmingham require additional staff to join their team. This consultnacy guide clients through all the complexities of the development management and planning policy processes, from pre-application and land promotion stages, to post-determination success, and through appeals and Judicial Reviews.

The successful candidate will:

Be working on and managing a range of projects whilst also supporting and being supported by junior members of the team.

Your work will include the preparation of planning appraisals, applications and appeals together with the promotion of sites through the planning process.
You will need to be a Chartered Member of the RTPI or RICS (planning and development) and ideally have between 5 and 10 year’s post qualification experience
You must be able to successfully manage competing demands, be self-motivated and a team player.
You will also need to have excellent oral and written communication skills
