The company has production facilities in Europe, USA and Asia.
They are now looking to strengthen their UK presence and are looking for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing new business across a number of industrial markets. The role will require the management of existing key accounts across the territory which cover the North and East side of the UK including Scotland, maintaining and growing accounts within the existing portfolio.
You will have the ability to provide technical and commercial offers in the form of a solution to resolve problems within your prospective client base. You will look to acquire an in-depth appreciation of the client's technical and commercial demands by developing a thorough knowledge of the company's products and services. Duties and responsibilities for the Sales Engineer will be as follows:
Manage and develop existing accounts within defined territory to meet and exceed agreed sales targets
Co-develop the Sales Plan and ensure it is fully implemented on time
Research specific markets and make contact with potential customers to introduce Chemviron Carbons products and solutions
Work with the company's technical support function to provide appropriate economic customer solutions.
The Successful Applicant:
The Successful Sales Engineer will be a self-starter and autonomous in nature with the ability to strategically identify and target new clients within a variety of industries including: Water, Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Environmental protection industries.
You will be commercially astute and have the ability to identify opportunities across a broad range of industries, including within existing accounts.
The successful Sales Engineer will also have the following:
Chemical/process engineering experience and/or qualification
A Sales professional:
comfortable making the initial contact with prospective customers and following up with a technical/engineering introduction of Chemviron Carbon and our products
Understanding of the project process for technical and solution sales
Good presentation and report preparation skills
Become a product expert, with detailed customer and market knowledge
Highly Computer literate
Problem solving skills, able to adapt and take a flexible approach
A positive can-do attitude
Negotiate, up to director level, with a positive, can-do attitude and be an excellent relationship builder.
