Our client is a leading independent economic consultancy with a 25 year history of working with FTSE 250 businesses of the highest calibre. They are retained by both financial and industrial and commercial companies to provide regular analysis and advice on the state of the UK and world economies and the prospects facing their own sectors.
The staff, including the Managing Director, currently numbers 90-100 people, across our London, North American and Asian office. The company is extremely ambitious and it would hope to expand this headcount within the next two years, and with this - seek engaging Sales Executives (x3) to join their Victoria (London) office. Our client are able to offer genuine progression opportunities, a superb team-environment of low turnover and high investment, and superb earning potential.
Job Description:
The Sales Executive will primarily generate new sales and to maintain existing clients, in a classic blend of gaining and retaining organisations.
Other Responsibilities will include:
1. The identification and pursuit of suitable targets via cold calling
2. Identify, develop, and implement effective sales strategies to successfully capture identified opportunities in the Region in a timely way, out-selling competitive alternatives.
3. Prospect and close appropriate targets from a list based on a specific geography. Sell primarily to senior management (Director, VP, C-level) at prospect accounts.
4. Build and maintain client relationships via regular phone and email contact
5. Maintain the minimum weekly/daily metrics for the role and an appropriate sales pipeline.
6. Develop a complete understanding of the client's full array of product offerings.
The Successful Applicant:
We are eager to speak with Sales Executive (s) who have anything between 6 months - 3 years sales B2B business development experience, open on background; however software, financial services, recruitment or media sales would be beneficial.
See below the key characteristics which our client are looking for:
1. Proven track record of new business development working with both new and existing customers delivering demonstrable growth in a sales environment.
2. Organised, persistent and persuasive with the proven ability to generate his/hers own leads.
3. Previous experience working within a similar field and an understanding of the financial world would be very useful but not essential for the right candidate.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be demonstrated within a sales environment.
5. Fully IT literate and technically able, experience of ACT CRM system an advantage but not essential.
6. Proven ability to develop and utilise commercial awareness providing quantifiable business benefits.
7. Strong team player who shows commitment to the wider organisation working together and adding value to achieve success.
What's on Offer:
-£25,000 - £30,000 Base Salary, superb commission structure - possibility to earn genuine £££!
-First year OTE; £40,000, Second Year £50,000+. Progression opportunities through to Key Account Manager or Team Lead roles, international opportunities, and excellent market-leading training provision.
