Next Generation Data are a growing force in the rapidly expanding data storage space.

With a world class facility in South Wales, NGD is now one of the largest and most advanced data storage operations in the world and have already attracted some of the world's largest blue chip companies, such as BT, CGI, IBM and Dell.

The commercial operation is based from riverside office premises in Richmond upon Thames and the Sales Executive role would be based from this site, although travel to South Wales can be expected.

Job description:

The Sales Executive role is a newly-created position to support the continued growth of NGD. Reporting to the Chairman, you'll receive excellent training, both internally and externally, as well as benefiting from the direct contact with an industry entrepreneur.

You'll get exposure to a number of core business functions, specifically across Sales & Marketing, supporting the existing Business Development and Customer Management team. After the training and induction period, you'll be tasked with helping to grow profitable revenue through client acquisition and account management.

The Sales Executive will be interacting with a range of customers, including corporate organisations, channel partners and public sector clients. You'll look to develop a pipeline of opportunities, managing a sales process from lead generation & qualification through to customer meetings and closing deals.

The role is based from NGD's offices in Richmond upon Thames and you could expect to travel nationally to customer meetings, as well as to the data centre site in South Wales.

The Successful Applicant:
The successful candidate will be passionate about a career within the Technology/IT industry. You'll be comfortable in a sales-led environment and you'll see your career path following a commercial route. Previous industry experience is not essential and this may be your first full-time sales role since graduation.

You'll be an excellent communicator, comfortable transacting both over the phone and face-to-face with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Essentially in a sales role, you'll be driven by targets and motivated by success and reward.

The Sales Executive role is office-based in Richmond upon Thames with travel to customers nationally as well as the need to spend time at the facility in South Wales.
