Our client is an entrepreneurial and leading importer of organic superfoods. The business was founded in 2006 and has grown rapidly based on its reputation for market knowledge, quality and service. There is a comprehensive portfolio of over 70 different products which are sold as bulk, branded and own label goods across a variety of customer channels in the UK and Europe.
After recently joining the business, the CEO is looking to grow the sales of the Bulk division which currently generates approximately 50% of the turnover for the company. To do this the team need to optimise sales with existing customers and drive incremental business by winning new customers. As Sales Manager you will be responsible for setting a sales strategy for the Bulk division, agreeing targets, developing sales initiatives and leading the team of Account Managers to deliver successful results.
The Successful Applicant:
Team leadership/management experience within the Food & Drink industry
Strategic thinker with the ability to set out and structure a sales plan geared to growth
Demonstrable capability of Negotiation, Leadership, & Entrepreneurialism - alongside an affinity for the nature of our product
Track record of results
