This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative Area Sales Manager. Part of the Helping Hands Group, the market leader in postural management.

Here in the UK we are an established supplier to Health and Social Services and being both a manufacturer and a direct seller means we can provide our customers with well designed quality products at favourable prices

Job Description:
The company's success is founded on its reputation of having exceptional customer service, coupled with their innovative and market leading products, this really is a forward thinking organisation. The business is about to undergo a product split where the Sales team will be split in half.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will have sole responsibility for developing and driving ambitious growth plans across the UK. This opportunity is about ensuring strong and sustainable customer and relationships, optimising distribution efficiency's and developing a high level of service.

This is a second line leader role, managing 5 external Business Development Managers, ensuring that the efficiency of the sales team is optimised.

The Successful Applicant:
Critical to the success of this Area Sales Manager will be previous experience within a regional area, with a results driven track record of delivery in sales activities, whilst able to create sustainable relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate must have demonstrable track record of success, will have strong negotiation skills, and a customer focused approach with in depth knowledge of wholesale distribution, field sales and retailing. They will have strong commercial acumen, with the ability to optimise costs and develop revenue streams.

Extensive experience of new business and sales management
A truly innovative and inspirational leader of people and teams
A proven track record in improving team performance and implementing change
Focused on people development, adding value and consistently high service levels
Adept at managing complex negotiations with potentially difficult customers
Adept at influencing internal and external decision makers at all levels, including Board
Using innovative techniques to take new ideas to market
A background in both B2B and B2C activities would be advantageous
Strong ethics: work honestly and with integrity

What's on Offer:
The base package on offer is £45,000 with a strong commission structure on top. A company car or car allowance will also be provided
