This high profile role, in Bridon's fastest growing sector, will provide commercial leadership and will be instrumental in the growth of its position in the Oil & Gas market. Reporting directly to the EMEA Sales Director, and with matrix exposure across the business, the successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of new and existing opportunities for growth.
This will be an exciting, challenging and varied role; the main responsibilities will include:
Develop and deploy the Oil and Gas sector plan to deliver sales growth and profit targets
Tactical sales management of the global Oil and Gas sector team
Build and develop the Oil and Gas commercial team to deliver a world class customer experience
Partner with customers and colleagues to deliver performance and cost-in-use benefits to the global marketplace
Identifying trends, key growth opportunities and overseeing all sector activity to capitalise on opportunities
Drive new product development business plans, major growth programmes and market development initiatives across the global marketplace
Provide key input for the development of the company's wider global strategic goals
The Successful Applicant:
The Sector Head will be a commercial leader with a demonstrable track record of developing and driving growth of international sales and profit lines. They will possess the commerciality and intellect to design and deliver complex strategic plans.
Of equal importance will be the 'hands-on' ability to lead the tactical execution of such activities and goals. The requisite experience will have been gained from a sales and marketing background in a highly-engineered product environment. Candidates with experience and understanding of supplying technical product into the Oil and Gas markets would be preferred; however candidates with relevant experience from related sectors will be considered.
Crucially the candidate, a natural relationship builder, will have the drive, people management and influencing skills to deliver results through a complex matrix environment. They will have the confidence and ambition to relish the challenges of this high profile role. This opportunity will enable the successful candidate to accelerate their career through the business.
