My client is a market driven supplier of electro-mechanical solutions, dedicated to supporting a global network of customers that demand world class performance.
Directly impacting major OEM sales across multiple sectors
Providing strategic direction to the sales team to maximise business opportunities.
Manage and control sales operations so that agreed targets and objectives for sales and margins are achieved.
Working in a commercial and technically led sales process, securing long term customers
The development of robust sales, market and valued added strategies to meet market and customer requirements in order to maximise customer revenue.
Regular customer visits and product presentations.
Preparation of sales plans and budget.
The Head of Sales will:
Have demonstrate a track record of success in an international sales management role. They may have managed two people in a global market for example.
Have a proven track record in Technical selling ideally working with design and supply chain solutions.
Prepared to travel extensively throughout the world on a frequent basis.
Culturally aware, you will be tenacious yet structured in your approach, and bring real dynamism to the team through a "can do and roll your sleeves up" attitude.
A sharp strategic thinker with the ability to get the best out of the team.
Confident and assertive communicator with highly developed influencing and networking skills.
Proven track record of personal success in a business development role and the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
Have an engineering degree, HND or technical qualification.
