Veterinary Wholesale and Distribution Sales Management

Job description:

Our client is a full-line veterinary wholesaler delivering the highest standard of service throughout the UK. This organisation prides itself on providing superior value, efficiency and innovation to veterinary customers.

Job Description:
Key Accountabilities will include:
Responsibility for the retention and growth of the organisation's core business
Developing a business plan and sales strategy to ensure achievement of company sales and profitability
Leading a team of Territory Managers to effectively manage and grow their territories
Providing coaching and advice to Territory Managers to build motivation and selling skills
Providing leadership in areas of work ethic and character
Creating and implementing effective KPI structures and reporting as appropriate
Master and pioneer training methodologies for the team
Help to develop marketing collateral to support the team
Developing strong relationships with all key stakeholders through transparent and consistent communication

Who we're looking for:
This role requires a dynamic sales professional, with the ability to engage teams and lead from the front. It requires excellent leadership skills, highly effective communication skills, and an ability to see the bigger picture alongside the short term gains. Other necessary requirements include:
Demonstrable evidence of high performance management within teams
Evidence of delivering profitability through field sales teams
Evidence of creating and implementing successful sales strategy
A background in engaging with customers on such a level to encourage mutual growth and development
An engaging persona, gravitas
An effective communicator
IT proficiency with both Microsoft Office and Cloud Based applications
A Bachelor's degree in business or an animal health field is essential
A MBA is desirable
