Aker Solutions' Workover Systems team is based in Fornebu and Tranby, and is a part of Aker Subsea. It is an innovative, dynamic and highly competent team that develops and delivers advanced systems to perform well completion, maintenance and intervention of subsea wells on depths down to 3000 meters. We are now looking for creative and talented individuals who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Subsea market.

We are looking for: Lead Engineer LWRP:

Responsibilities and tasks:
LWRP Lead engineer’s responsibility is technical progress within the respective Work pack in our project and delivery agreed technical activities according to schedule and maintain WOS CoE TRE (technology responsible engineer) involvement.
Work closely with product experts (TRE, Chief engineer).
Review national and international standards.
Contribute in tender work and study and concept activities.
Execute project related activities in accordance with project execution models and international standards.
Reports to Work pack manager, stand in for work pack manager when required.
Be the Work Pack technical point towards our project client.
Be the technical expertise for all engineers and designers within the work pack.

Qualifications & personal attributes:
Relevant (Mechanical, Subsea, Marine or petroleum engineering) theoretical education (Minimum B.Sc.) – or relevant (WOS/Subsea) experience (6 year+) which compensate for lack of formal education.
Hands on offshore experience, Subsea or LWRP experience is required.
Excellent technical understanding.
3 years’ Work Over experience.
Experience working in a regulated industry on national and international codes and standards (eg ISO, NORSOK).
Good analytical skills and highly structured.
Good commercial awareness and communication skills.
Willing to travel both national and internationally.
Leadership skills.
