Service Desk Manager to Skanska IT Nordic

Skanska IT Nordic is looking for a Nordic/Global Service Desk Manager located in Stockholm, Helsinki or Oslo.

You will manage and have operational responsibility for Skanska’s Nordic and Global Service Desk function within Skanska IT Nordic. You will manage a highly service-minded and efficient team supporting a large organization. You will have a highly visible role amongst our business partners and take responsibility for leadership, control and decision-making for the Nordic Service Desk organization. To help you succeed in your mission, you have three team leaders, stationed in Norway, Sweden and Finland.

We require:

Relevant education in the area of IT and/or at least five years of experience from a similar employment, e.g. from leadership of helpdesk and support operations
Proven competence and experience from budgeting and forecast processes
Experience from working in an IT organization
Experience and capability to drive change, manage relations and cooperation
Capability to develop, motivate and coach your employees
Fluency in written and spoken English and one of the Nordic languages

We appreciate:
Knowledge of more than one Nordic language
Knowledge from ITIL framework?

We are looking for a person with a passion to develop and motivate their employees, having a coaching attitude. Communication is vital for being successful in this role.
The Service Desk Manager will report to the Head of Service Integration and Support of Skanska IT Nordic (located in Stockholm, Sweden) and be a part of the function’s management team.
