DNB is in the lead when it comes to cloud adoption in the world of finance. Where others wait and see – we act! IT PM is part of the IT organization building digital products for all of DNB’s personal customers. We believe that we work with the most exciting ideas, building products that will be used by over 2,1 million people in Norway.

About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team of engaged and dedicated engineers who are working hard building personalized customer experiences. The team will build and maintain responsive web pages and prototypes, frameworks and integrations. You will deliver services to several types of clients. You will interact closely with IT architects, product owners, UX designers and other software engineers. The team is working agile and DevOps.

You’ll participate in everything from design, implementation, quality assurance, experimentation, testing, deployment, monitoring and documentation of the services we build and maintain. We focus on creating the best developer experience towards our services and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing internally as well as externally.

In this role, you will play a significant role in exploring, defining and scaling our future revenue streams. We look for people with a growth mindset who inspire colleagues and external partners, with a mix of humbleness, but also can take the lead.

Your experience:
You are a skilled frontend or full stack engineer. You are also great at working in cross-functional and virtual teams with people from other parts of the organization.

You should be passionate about technology and have a strong interest in learning about and playing with new technologies. Maybe you even have some side projects that you want to share with us?

You have a master or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cloud Computing or other related technical fields.

Fluency in English, both oral and written is important. Norwegian skills are a plus.

It is also a big plus if you have experience with one or more of the following:
JavaScript language
HTML
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Designing, building and maintaining REST APIs for a SaaS, PaaS or IaaS company
Agile development methods
Solid understanding of automated testing, continuous integration and deployment practices
Privacy and security by design
Demonstrated passion for user experience design and improved user-friendliness
