Technical Lead

IT has overall responsibility for all digital solutions and products offered by DNB. IT shall ensure that the bank at all times serves the customers in the most user-friendly manner. With more than 18 million visits in the online bank and 44 million visits in the mobile bank every month, IT plays a vital role in meeting the customers' expectations now and in the future.

Last year, we moved the most popular payment app (Vipps) into the cloud, and now we are well on our way to build a cloud platform to better meet the future expectations of our customers. On our path to becoming a technology company, we changing into DevOps based product teams. We believe that our bank can do much more than just traditional banking. To meet the challenges we are facing, we have established a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE already has highly skilled and motivated cloud experts, however, we need to strengthen both the CCoE and the product teams.
We are looking for strong team players and we care deeply about building an inclusive and diverse culture in which everyone can succeed.

We are looking for a DevOps Technical Lead who:
has experience in development, release/build engineering and containerization in large scale environments.
has operational experience in large scale environments.
has experience of working in a DevOps team
does development and maintenance of CI/CD Pipeline
is strong in configuration management, automation and scripting skills using AWS cloud formation, Python and Bash/Shell
has in-depth knowledge of cloud platform (AWS) and application automated deployment technologies.
has excellent scripting ability :
had exposure to a range of continuous integration and build tools Jenkins, AWS Pipeline.
has knowledge of server less technologies (AWS Lambda)
has experience of using and configuring APM tools (Splunk) to deliver support and automation of a customer facing ecommerce tool.
use of source code version control software such as git.
experience using and configuring Bitbucket, JIRA, Pipelines etc.
knowledge of agile working methods such as Scrum and Kanban
knows how to code in Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, Bash and/or similar
has experience maintaining production-grade applications in cloud environments (preferably AWS/Azure)
has Experience working with network technologies and web standards (REST APIs, Web Security mechanisms)
has Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins)is familiar with open source software like: Redis, Elasticsearch, Nginx
automates everything what has to be done at least twice

Focus areas:
Own and improve support and maintenance of technical product, with a main focus on Identity and Access Management
Establish and implement DevOps pipelines to help the delivery team release software using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
Optimize and tune Application Performance Monitoring and system monitoring tools.
Assist in the design and delivery of all technical aspects of the automation projects. This will include assisting in the designing and building of automation frameworks with the goal of improving the
current process of provisioning development and test environments through automation.
Take a hands on role in creating, managing and maintaining automated deployment scripts for various Development, UAT and Pre-production environments.
Write and review Digital Operational documents
Automate everything
Plan and develop core cloud infrastructure
Manage and monitor core cloud infrastructure
Build Self Service platform for other teams
Work closely with devops tribes to help them with best practices and deployments
Stay up to date with technology and always look for a more efficient solution
