Material Technologist Senior

Maintenance (MMO/V&M) Project : Inspection & Maintainance Technology Work Location : Stavanger Job description: Senior Material Engineer shall participate in the Early Phase studies on development of new and old installations in the North Sea for Aker Solutions. We work with future field development. It is a multi discipline and dynamic environment (short and long term studies) for different customers. He/she must be self going and seeking solutions. Evaluation and specification on metallic materials and glassfiber re-inforced polymers for process-/utility-systems and structural items. Corrosion and erosion evaluations, evaluation and selection of corrosion protection. Evaluation and selection of surface protection. Be up to date on Customers requirements and specifications Prepare Material Selection Philosophy reports and Material Selection Report

Qualifications:

Master Degree in Materials technology/Metallurgy or equivalent. Relevant experience from Process-Petroleum industry. Knowledge on NORSOK standards, national and international standards Language Skills : Norwegian, good knowledge in English
