The MICE Hotel Planner Trainee is in charge of:
- All the last minute events and groups request following internal procedure
- Making all the reservations regarding seminars, meetings, conferences, groups, dinners, banqueting, weddings...
- Taking care of the last minute changes and follows up.
- PMI
- Dealing and informing the others departments about the C&B room occupancy
- Organizing the weekly meeting with operational teams
- Settling the arrival of the group (welcome letter/preparation...)
- Being the contact person for the guest during his stay
- Quest back
- Making exit Interview
- Doing site inspections
- Participating on all sales activities (visits, call storms, conference calls,,..)
- Duty training following hotel schedule
- All other tasks related to the MICE department
The MICE Hotel Planner Trainee is part of the active life of the hotel by working different and flexible shifts.
He is the contact person for guests on site by supervising the event/group/meeting during the process of it. Further to the expectations of the guests, the priority of the challenger is to successfully satisfying them and bringing balance between all (services to guests, catering department, revenue…)
Team spirit, good presentation, good communication, professional manners and good knowledge of French, Dutch and English are essential.
