Pulse International is looking for a Nurse Manager for the Transport, Resuscitation, Admission, Code, Sedation Teams (TRACS) in an exciting new healthcare project in Qatar.

Job description:

Scheduled to open in 2013, the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet world-class standards in patient care, medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme, general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College - a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.

The TRACS Teams Manager plans is responsible for the recommendation, development and implementation of policies and procedures in the areas covered by the TRACS teams – that is, Transport, Resuscitation, Admission, Code and Sedation Teams. He / she is responsible for planning the direction and evaluation of patient care delivery and operational aspects of the teams’ work which include inter-facility, high-risk transport, rapid response, admission, code and sedation teams.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse holding a Master’s degree in Nursing, with at least three years’ management experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with five years’ management experience would be acceptable. Current PALS, ACLS Certification is required. Experience with international accreditation such as Joint Commission of International Accreditation (JCIA) would be an advantage.
