We are looking for individuals who are prepared to take a position. Not only a position within Aker Solutions, but also a position on the exciting challenges the global oil and gas industry faces now and in the future.
Aker Care is the new and comprehensive employee health service of Aker Solutions. It is a major step- up in our endeavour to promote a healthy work-life balance, prevent injuries and illnesses, but also examine and treat health problems that concerns our employees. Aker Solutions will organise this activity in three service areas; Health Promotion, Occupational Health and Personal Health, in partnership with AktiMed Norge AS, who will operate the occupational and personal health services. We are determined to offer our employees the best health care system in the industry.
During 2014, Aker Care services will be introduced at most of our work sites in Norway through five regional health centres in Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Kristiansand as well as some satellite offices. To achieve full scale operation on all of these locations we need to recruit health care personnel of various categories. Personnel working within occupational health and personal health units will be employed by AktiMed Norge while those working with health promotion will be employed by Aker Solutions.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Promoting both individual -oriented and group-based nutrition programs to employees according to the Aker Care concept.
Cooperate with Aker Care personnel on individuals and groups that need nutritional counseling.
Promote knowledge and enthusiasm through the Aker Active web portal with respect to healthy eating among employees.
Provide educational programs and expertise in connection with to health promotion campaigns.
The position is 40 %, but with a possibility that the appointee also will be offered a part-time position in the Norwegian Ski Federation, cross country for working with nutrition among young athletes.
Workplace: Fornebu , but must expect some business travel to other Aker Care locations.
Qualifications & personal attributes:
Educated as nutritionist , preferably also approved dietitian.
Some expertise and counseling experience with sports / high performance nutrition is desirable.
Experience with organizing and conducting health promotion in larger businesses or organizations.
Good interpersonal skills , pedagogical skills and experience of working interdisciplinary.
Good understanding of how to use a web portal and other IT tools in communication with the user / employee.
Good verbal skills and be able to communicate well in English both orally and in writing.
