H&M in Stockholm is looking for a Pattern Maker Responsible interested in leadership with sports- and or menswear experience to H&M New Develop department.

New Development team works with the aim to strengthen the H&M brand by creating fun, innovative and conscious collections. The team works with a variety of projects and covers all customers. As a Pattern maker responsible at New Development you will create collections, coordinate the projects in the pattern team and motivate and develop the team.
We are looking for an experienced pattern maker with a great sense of fashion and strong pattern making knowledge. Creating our collections requires a well-organized person with technical abilities and accuracy who knows how to read sketches, prioritize the work load and get things done under pressure.
Minimum requirements:
At least 5 years of experience working as a pattern maker within a wide range of garment types. Main focus for this role is sports- and menswear
Knowledge of Lectra or any other computerized pattern making program
Speak and write fluent English

Key pattern making skills:
The successful candidate has strong construction knowledge and a great sense of design and fit
Has a professional pattern maker experience in creation of functional sport products or menswear in product range building and in product development /production.
Grading knowledge.
Experience working with production and has good knowledge in functional fabrics and textiles.
About the role:
You will be the responsible pattern maker and the informal leader in the team, and you will work in tight communication with the section head and section teams.
Create first patterns and make amendments. Work from blocks, start from scratch or drape on the stand
Take lead in the fits sessions and follow the product from 1st sample to production
Location is H&M Buying Office in Stockholm, Sweden
