Piping Vibration Expert
The candidate shall have hands on experience in field vibration monitoring of the piping, Small Bore Connections, control valves, field Instrumentation and instrument tubing.
Job description:
The Vibration expert shall have sound understanding of the vibration phenomenon and various equipment used for vibration measurement and their advantages and limitations. Competency is expected in the set-up, calibration and use of accelerometers, strain gauges, pressure transducers, hand held vibration meters, strain amplifiers and data acquisition units and FFT analyzers. The candidate shall also have expertise in analysing the measured data and using a combination of physical measurement, analysis and modeling tools to identify vibration and fatigue and suggesting mitigation measures. The candidate shall be competent in performing EI guideline type Vibration Risk Assessment. Pipework surveys of process plant on- and offshore will be part of work as and when required.

Pipe stress analysis using Caesar II is added advantage.
ANSYS FE models to represent measured data and fatigue calculations
Acoustic Induced Vibration Assessments of Flare systems (AIV)
Machinery - commissioning, troubleshooting, routine CM
Operational Deflection Shape (ODS) and Operational Modal Analysis (OMA )
Familiar with the different permit-to-work systems, safe systems of working and safety observation programmes used by various operators
Following will be added advantage:
