Department of Marketing
The department of marketing at BI has 15 full time research faculty and 15 lecturers. The faculty's research interests cover all aspects of marketing. The Department has won several prestigious awards for its research, including the MSI/H. Paul Root Award, the IMR International Marketing Award and the Louis W. Stern Award. The department has an active and ambitious Ph.D. program, and boasts its own research fund for the financing and promotion of first class research projects.
The BI Norwegian Business School invites applications for the the Professorship in Marketing at the Department of Marketing. The position is within the field of Branding.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of research excellence (i.e., up-to-date publications in top tier marketing journals or journals in related fields) and good teaching skills at the MBA level. Classes are taught in English. The successful candidate will be expected to add substantially to the research profile of the department and the school through his or her own activities as well as the ability to foster the development of research among junior colleagues.
The position offers membership of the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund and BI offers competitive salary and benefits and good research support.
Qualifications will be evaluated according to the usual rules for academic positions at universities and specialized university institutions.
