QA Manager

Senior Software Demolition Expert
We are now looking for you, a Quality Assurance leader with strong interpersonal skills. As the successful candidate you will be tasked to bring structure and motivate others to a culture of quality across cross-functional teams, while working closely with software development and product management as well as our customers to ensure the best possible customer experience.

You will will take pride in learning the CFEngine software and its uses inside and out, evangelize quality and build culture and routines for continuous improvement. Your goal will be to create a constant awareness about the readiness of our product.

Job Description

As the QA Manager you will be accountable for defining measurable quality criteria together with our customers/product management and the project teams, and make sure at each step that the software we build follows quality requirements. You understand the needs of mission critical Enterprise Management Software, where failures must be avoided at all cost, and will build a good understanding of how the user will use the features we are about to build. It would be a great plus if you have domain knowledge in IT system administration, or even better, you have experience with configuration management and automation. You have proven experience as a leader and coach of engineering teams, with or without direct line manager responsibility.

Accountabilities:
Overall responsibility and ownership for test asset management
Provide clarity by the use of dashboards
Driving QA processes and culture in the organisation
Owner of organisational learning related to QA
Building and leading a team of software engineers in test, including recruiting responsibilities and line manager responsibilities
