Job description:

Do you have a passion for recruiting and human resources in a high performance global culture?
The position is based in Oslo and contributes to our company’s success by providing professional level support to the assigned customer groups in the Nordic countries.

Essential Functions:
• Play a key role in the attraction and hiring of critical talent for Life Technologies AS in the Oslo area, and for the Life Technologies sites in Sweden, Denmark and Finland
• Deliver a value add talent acquisition experience for all our customers including market information, talent pipeline, organisational design and thought leadership.
• Support our managers in developing a company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance
•Execute successful change
• Implement and manage administration of human resources policies, procedures and programs
• Follow up Quest Survey, our organizational survey
• Work closely with managers to identify required competency and performance levels, appropriate development and training programs
• This position interacts with varying levels of personnel requiring the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing Life Technologies HR and Recruiting policies and programs and the interpretation of them
• Additional HR generalist responsibilities as assigned

Desired Qualifications/Qualities:
• University degree within HR related subjects
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Documented 5+ years experience with recruiting and HRG roles preferably in an international environment
• Fluent in English in addition to Norwegian
• Excellent communicator, organized and positive
• Structured and self-driven
• Comfortable in a performance management culture
• Experience of coaching and influencing senior managers
