Pulse International is looking for a Staff Nurse for the Cardiothoracic Unit of one of New Zealand’s most prestigious private hospitals, in the North Island.

Job description:

The Cardiothoracic Unit is a 15-bed cardiac and surgical ward specializing in CABG, valve surgery and thoracic surgery such as lobectomy and pneumonectomy.

The Cardiac Unit is a busy, stimulating environment. CTU, ICU and CCU/CIU are all on the same floor which is a real advantage and supports a team approach to patient care. Staff nurses in the unit work 12 hour shifts and there is a flexible rostering system. Clinical Nurse Educators and Resource Nurses provide support to the nursing team.
