A medium sized studio in Richmond are looking for a Senior Architect to join their studio working on projects from Concept to Delivery stages. This is an excellent opportunity to join an International studio with a broad project portfolio of award winning schemes.

The ideal candidate will have very strong experience working on projects up to a value of £40 Million. You will have experience managing a team and confidence in RIBA work stages 1-7. A minimum of 6 years UK experience is required for this role.

Job description:

In this role, you will:

Develop projects as per the clients brief (stages 1-7)
Lead a team of Architects, Assistants and Technologists
Prepare project presentations for tender
Develop drawing packages
Sign off technical drawings, surveys and contractor documents
Collaborate on large Mixed-use schemes with a mixture of Residential, Commercial and Retail spaces
Liaise with clients and contractors on site
Promote the practice and lead projects
Actively work on site assisting with the management of tasks and preparing surveys as required

The following requirements are essential to this position:
A minimum of 6 years post Part 3 experience in the UK
At least 6 years' experience working on residential/mixed-use projects
A thorough understanding of UK building regulations
Relevant software knowledge with a thorough understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
Proficient experience preparing drawing packages to RIBA stage 6 (J-K).
Excellent presentation skills
A portfolio of works that communicates your experience of the above

The following experience is non-essential but will be advantageous to the role:
Project knowledge working with Revit
This is an ideal role for an Experienced Architect from a larger studio who may be looking for increased responsibility and exposure to the full project process.
