Senior Pipeline Engineer
As a division of a major operator, this well-established oil & gas engineering company, with a reputation for technical excellence, operates primarily as the in-house engineering department of a global operator with their focus being as a competence and execution centre for onshore and deep-water engineering.
Job description:
Due to significant internal restructuring, they have plans for a substantial increase in their engineering workforce with Oil & Gas field development projects arriving from other group offices around the World. The division performs a key role as part of the Development department within the E&P Division of this Oil & Gas Major and produces a number of FEED, concept and engineering management studies.
A significant office refurbishment is already underway as a reaction to this major restructuring.
This increase in workload and has resulted in the need for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to carry out the following duties:
o RISER/PIPELINE/SEALINE system design experience (Basic Design/ FEED);
o PLET system design experience (Basic Design/ FEED);
o JUMPER/SPOOL system design experience (Basic Design/ FEED);
o Site experience (Construction yard and offshore);
o Execution detail design follow-up;
o Knowledge about umbilical system, e.g. crossings, installation;
o Design experience shall include at least the preparation of technical documents like Scope of Work, Technical Specifications, Subsea layout, Installation procedures, datasheets and analysis such as on bottom stability, buckling, walking, routing, pipe sizing, insulation, cathodic protection, installation etc… in respect to the applicable standards.
