Senior Product Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Product Manager you are the CEO of the product and are responsible for defining, prioritizing, planning and driving the execution of the vision for the product line. You as the Product Manager must possess business acumen as well as engineering wherewithal in order to be able to strategize, drive and bring their product to market. In this role you must work extensively with customers while working cross functionally with Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and business development in order to successfully prioritize features and develop the products that our customers need.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Senior Product Manager you will assist in compiling the strategy and roadmap of our product
You will own specific areas of the product and jointly own (with engineering) delivery of software across multiple releases (major and minor)
Communicate product vision and product direction for customers, and internal audiences..
Involved in daily product planning activities
You will attend all of the critical regular product planning meetings and will work in concert with Engineering to deliver compelling new products to market.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You have a proven track record in building enterprise systems management products or hands on experience in the IT automation / DevOps space.

Your familiarity with the following will be considered a plus:
IT Automation space: DevOps, Application Lifecycle & Application Release, Orchestration and System Config
Open Source Software and Open Source Community Model with IT infrastructure product
SaaS-based system management solutions
IT Automation Domain knowledge as well as competitive knowledge and acumen
You have strong analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making.
Experience as a practitioner, product manager, or software developer is a plus.
BS in Computer Science or related technical field is a plus.
Willing to travel to meet customers and partners up to 20-25% time.
