To ensure that all project programme data is correctly input and cross checked so that the project planner can use the information to inform future works. The role will also support the permitting supervisor and assist in ensuring that all street work construction activities are undertaken in accordance with all provisions under the New Roads and Street Works Act and London Permit Scheme.
Job description:
Working under the direction and supervision of the project planner the data controller will ensure that all CIP data is entered into the appropriate systems.
Assist the project document controller to ensure that design information is received and issued in a timely manner.
Assist the business unit complies with NRSWA/Permit regulations, raising any non compliance to the attention of management
Enforce and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
Raising, opening, monitoring and closing of Street Work Permits requests in strict accordance with Street Works legislation.
Responding to incoming comments and directions from Local Authority
Maintaining accurate records at all times
Seeking to identify and continuously improve the systems and processes established both within Skanska, and with external stakeholders, to deliver an excellent street works permit service.
Actively promote a positive company image at all times.
Carry out any other duties appropriate for a job of this nature.
Keep up to date with the changes within the London Permit Scheme
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
NRSWA legislation
Self motivated
Good planning and priority skills
Ability to work within a team
Excellent telephone manner
Good I.T Skills
