Software Quality Engineer

Do you enjoy delivering the bad news to the software developer that bragged yesterday about his fantastically robust, reliable and scalable piece of code? Do you feel a sense of pride and achievement when you could proof to the product team that the code is not yet ready for managing mission critical infrastructure? Are you constantly thinking about ways to make sure that the code is unbrakebale before it ships?

Then you are the Software Quality Engineer that will enable our international team of software developers to efficiently deliver rock-solid confiruration management software!]

CFEngine runs on more than 10 million hosts and the success of the company relies on us shipping unbreakebale code. Our software processes trillions of dollars on a daily basis in some the biggest banks in the world, and quality assurance is critical to these customers.

You:

Have a strong background in Quality Assurance and testing
Will drive the creation of test cases both in C and CFEngine policy
Coordinate the implementation of continuous test infrastructure that allows us to effectively execute system tests.
Are a self-driven individual who naturally takes ownership of projects.

The position is based in Oslo, but might include some travel to conferences and customers.
