Subsea Commissioning Engineer

As Subsea Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for the development and execution of the Subsea commissioning activities in readiness for start-up. This includes responsibility for the commissioning support vessel management and overall readiness within the subsea commissioning team.

Key Responsibilities required:

Conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Ensuring the system testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities minimizes the impact on the environment in line with project requirements.
Ensuring the implementation of the OPERCOM process within the subsea packages through all stages of testing and commissioning

Acting as the focal point for the management and readiness of the dedicated subsea commissioning support vessel.
Witnessing and participation in key FAT’s, EFAT’s and SIT’s as required.

Continuous monitoring of the risks associated within the Subsea Commissioning activities
Ensuring project deliverables and activities associated with the Subsea Commissioning design are achieved in accordance with project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements of Basis of Design.
Liaising with counterparts within other project packages and company core technical teams.
Working collaboratively within the organization to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives

Key Qualification, Skills & Experience required:
A relevant Tertiary Engineering Degree
A lengthy background in discipline (subsea / underwater environment) to include recent and relevant experience delivering/commissioning subsea systems
A strong focus in all aspects of subsea control systems.
Excellent communication and written skills paired with the ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
Emphasis on practical design, building, installing, setting to work and operating a subsea system.
